La festa del Carnevale si conclude la sera dell'8 marzo con lo spettacolo "Lilly e la farfalla". A seguire, dalla terrazza del Pincio, un grande spettacolo di fuochi d'artificio, a cura del Gruppo IX Invicta, ispirato alle scenografie pirotecniche dell'architetto Giovanni Paolo Panini che costruiva per nobili e re mirabolanti macchine pirotecniche, da cui poi partivano spettacolari fuochi d'artificio.
