Come creare una borsa.....da una tovaglia?? I'm back here,
advance post tomorrow because I wanted to post probably will not be there and I want to really show you my last creation.
pursue this project for almost a month but always lacked the finishing touches ... but now I'm not thoroughly convinced of the final result, but the concept is there:)
The picture is a bit 'dovraesposta but "understand" better the way:)
You probably wonder why, with all the materials that are out there, I chose to do a bag with a cloth for more with the rubber down!
bizarre choice:) But I liked it so much imagination that I had already seen the project in mind!
course, you can choose any other material to manufacture it!
Here's what you need: -1.5 m
tablecloth with white rubber bottom (forgive me I do not know the name!) Of your favorite fantasy
-sewing machine
-Scissors-fine chain of color and texture of your choice
-studded ring-a tool to open the chain and pliers to close
-cloth shirt or unused
-adhesive Strap
patience-a lot a lot:) At first we
your tablecloth on a table, and make ready!
(hahaha oh well now you know that I am a bit 'worn out and sing to me and beat me with the sound of bassisssssssssssssssssimo level: D)
course, decide what will be the size of your bag, then turn the fabric and draw your helping draft with line and square. I recommend leaving a couple of inches on each side that will help us to do the sewing!
The package with the measures was a little 'guidance because then I changed again:)
After drawing the outline, cut along the edges (outer) and do the same procedure for all the pieces of the bag!
At this point, equip yourself with the sewing machine needle is you. I admit that I broke a couple of needles (disaster and misfortune), but was guilty of inhuman efforts due to entanglement convoluted ..
I was playing with a needle 90, but I managed to finish everything with a fine 80 - the classic series which is needle-in machines.
I recommend you not take a thread of cotton, nylon is my belief, but seem a normal wire. I started with the waxed thread and it was a drama. Ask for help with the contract in the haberdashery of choice of a good strong thread!
Sew all sides together to the opposite edge on the inside, and struggling a bit 'at the end, you get something like that ..
Now turn it!
The worst is over. Now we just need the "cover". Attach it with the bag is not reversed
Now go put the handles: I chose a gold chain which I think is very comfortable with this fantasy. I also found these studs ring to let us scroll through the handles (which turned out to be a problem more than anything else ... then you will see why!)
My idea was to make a handle to the "Chanel" or double-stranded, that you can pull the shoulder and then:)
The theory is there, but unfortunately these studs when they are fixed si allargano un po' e la catena scorre molto male.
Now, if you want (and if you can!) Applied to the studs!
Here I also put the chain: you have to do an open shirt and join with the last after you already passed the chain between the holes.
To open the links, I used a special tool that, by pressing the handles, opens two sticks of steel, but can let you do this in hardware and then close the top with pliers at home that we all have at home:) ( otherwise go back again in hardware ahah)
The bag is technically ready: there is no lining!
Per attaccarla quindi, ho preso lo strap biadesivo che I've also used in the creation of the palette, I did some small pieces, and I have attached in the inner perimeter of the bag.
Remove the package and enter the cabinet. Put it down so that by looking inside the bag will not see the seams:)
I realize that the edges and under the cover remained rough. Not everyone may like, but I do not mind: when it is closed will not notice much:)
(E 'also discuss the choice of cloth inside, but it was the only maglietta che ero disposta a sacrificare, e poi è intercambiabile :) )
Ho deciso di non mettere chiusure perchè il lembo davanti è beautiful long and is not likely to open up, however you can put a piece of adhesive straps;)
And this is the bag over:)
Now here is the suggestion for the bosses: if you do not want them armed with needle and thread and stitched golden around the hole, creating a kind of edge: give the illusion of a stud of cloth and allow you a much better glide in the chain. Since I already missed a stud, I think I will take away all this process;)
Let me know if you like and if you're going to do it:)
Tips and advice are welcome!
Goodnight:) Marta
