New Tool for the frontman of figureheads, came the new Schecter Hellcat VI. This instrument is more than six strings of a guitar, is in fact a guitar / bass six string, as the glorious Fender Bass VI, used for decades by Robert Smith and the Cure. The hollow sound and tuning an octave below the standard, make this instrument a real six-string bass, with body electric guitar. The use più frequente nei Cure si può riscontrare in album come Disintegration, Wish, Bloodflowers e 4:13 Dream. Un nuovo contributo per arricchire il sound del gruppo, avvicinandolo sempre di più a quello dei Cure.
